Ahmad Ali

Ph.D. Student of S'22

Ahmad Ali received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. In 2022, he joined the SENSL group at Oklahoma State University as a doctoral student. His primary research interests focus on the analysis and simulation of modern power systems. He is particularly interested in the theoretical and computational aspects of dynamical analysis of bulk power systems.

Zaid Ibn Mahmood

Ph.D. Student of S'22

Zaid Ibn Mahmood (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical and electronic engineering in 2018 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at Oklahoma State University.

His research interests include the integration of power electronic devices into modern power systems, with a focus on the design and control of power electronics converters.

Haya Monawwar

Ph.D. Student of F'23

Haya Monawwar received the B.S (Honors) degree in electrical engineering from Qatar University (Doha, Qatar) in 2021, and the M. S. in sustainable energy degree from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (Doha, Qatar) in 2023. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Oklahoma State University. Her research interests include large-scale power system simulation, high performance computing, and demand response.
